Have you guys read about this? Its interesting stuff and off the bat it seems to have merit.

If your sitting there scratching your.. head, wondering wtf im on about ill explain it a little... if you know it already you can read it anyway damnit, this took me time and effort! :x   :D

No ive changed my mind.. heres a link that prety much says it all. Tour Tempo (http://www.travelandleisure.com/tlgolf/invoke.cfm?ObjectID=D45729AE-3413-413B-8AE671F785A854FD)

It can be done using a metronome.. but i think due to the need for one extra beat, the beats are too fast to use effectively. If you'd like to try yourself ... for a .93sec swing @ 21/7 u need 258 beats/min... 1.06 @ 24/7 u need 227/min and for a 1.2sec swing @ 27/9 u need 200/min.

These beats/min give a beat to start and end the backswing, with one inbetween, and one to mark impact. My metronome only goes up to 250, and as i said i think that 4 beats is too many, so im gonna try to find a way to record the variable beats myself.

Cheers

Edit: the 21/7, 23/8 etc figures are irrelevant really, they only depict the number of frames seen when viewing the swing at .033 frames a sec. Also ive just found the intervals that i want to get beats at.. think a mate has some software that i might borow for a bit

Oh.. even the slowest swing @ 1.2 seems fast doesnt it.

Or you could use 86, 76 or 67 beats/min to mark takeaway and start of downswing.
[my figures are mine and therefor likely to be wrong]

Sounds like a lot of effort to me, but interesting anyway.
