View Full Version : Vic (or National) tournament listing?

Howdy all,

I've caught the golf bug again after a 20 year hiatus, and now looking to play a couple of country tournaments to sprinkle some variety into my game - but I can't find a decent listing of what tournaments are around and about. I'm mainly interested in Vic ones, but a National listing would be even better.

Nearest I can find is http://www.golfvic.org.au/2018calendar but it's only Victoria, and doesn't seem to stretch past Metro anyway.

Any ideas...?

Where abouts in VIC are you thinking?

There are some listed on here for clubs hosting tournaments etc north of melbourne http://www.ddga.com.au/

Anywhere Vic really - have motorhome, will travel :) Pretty much all of Vic is reachable for a weekender.

That site is a good start though, cheers!

Sounds like a blast, but not for me this year unfortunately!

So lacking a listing of all comps, I'll open to the floor - what 2-3 day comps are there in Vic country areas that folks know of...?

Weird that they don't have the most prestigious golf tournament held in Vic each year on their site. This year I believe it is on Friday March 9 at Barwon Heads.

I heard he reckons he can play balls from the water/mud while wearing white shorts and keep himself clean. Goose

The ball came out didn't it? Plus it gave the missus an excuse to get out of the kitchen and into the laundry to clean the said white shorts.
