I was wondering if anyone can give me a hand finding a cheap driver shaft.
I sent my dad a set of clubs as a present but the driver broke. He claims it broke in transit but he never mentioned it until the first day he went out to play... Hmmmm... :-s

I need a cheap driver shaft for an R1 to get him back up and running.
I think I need something about 55g in weight but could go a bit heavier as I'm planning on giving him the driver back a bit shorter. He's probably a reg flex but he has a very jerky action so something stiffer wouldn't hurt. I think that they come standard with a 350 adapter so if I get a 350 shaft I can hopefully remove the adapter and then I will be able to do it next weekend when he is visiting, but otherwise I can just wait for an adapter sleeve to be delivered from China.
It doesn't matter if the shaft doesn't "fit" his swing yet as he is just resuming golf after a long time off.
Here are some things I found already but I don't know whether they are suitable:
https://www.golftraders.com.au/fujikura-pro-50-driver-shaft-regular-flex-adapter Fujikura pro 50 $70 (includes adapter), I think I might be able to get this with the correct adapter if I email, they offer the TM adapter on all the other shafts.
https://www.golftraders.com.au/grafalloy-boost-driver-shaft-58-gram-regular-adapt Graf boost $75 (includes adapter)
Ebay:
Graf prolaunch platinum $58
Mizuno fujikura orochi $58
Fujikura pro xlr8 $58
I would need to install the adapter myself on these but I think I can manage it.
I think these are all from the same place actually.
There is also this joint here https://www.golfcomponents.com.au/product-category/shafts/driver-shafts/?min_price=35&max_price=675&orderby=price who have heaps of shafts, they seem like good prices but some of the shafts are a decade old models.
I checked the classifieds here but can't find anything at my price level, I don't want to spend much as he can get fitted properly when he's ready.
Any help would be appreciated and if you know of anywhere good to get a cheap new or used shaft then please let me know.
Or even if you know which of the ones I've looked at would be suitable (or not).
