Have bought a bunch of golf balls and curious if anyone knows if I should store them in air tight containers or not? I know the old wound and balata balls used to absorb moisture from the air and "go off" if you like, but I wasn't sure if the same can be said for the new solid core, urethane covered golf balls. Have about 18 months - 2 years of supply.
Cheers

I have recently played balls that were 2-3 years old, just stored in the box, and seemed to play normally to me.......

Unless you are storing them underwater you should be fine.
