Now that Jason has turned pro how will he go in the John Deere Classic?

I hope he makes a good go at it he is certainly talented enough.
I am tipping a cut made top 30 finish.

he's paired with Michelle Wie in the John Deere Classic - should be some fun at the 19th ;)

How did he get a start in the PGA? Is it a sponsors exemption or did he play a qualifying event?

Hope he goes well.

I heard he got sponsors invites from Nike and thats why he was grouped with Wie.

He has since signed with TM/Adidas so I imagine the invites from Nike will dry up pretty quick!

hes not grouped with Wie as per the pgatour website..

good luck to the kid...

Hopefully his class will come through and he'll turn away from the TM-Adidas cash cow...

He'd make a great ambassador for Cobra, along with Geoff Ogilvy.

when eh starts getting results Nike will thjrow the money at him. TM are a caretaker :D

I reckon Nike is the cash cow. How many non nike staff members are playing the SQ as opposed to people playing the R7?

Can't argue with most wins on tour...

Awesome first 2 rounds for Jason Day to what hopefully will be a successful Pro career.

See Day had another solid 3 under, good start to the career,

Sendo's had 7 under to be 3 in front, hope he can hold on,you won't find a nicer down to earth guy on the tour.

Terry.

Fingers crossed for another aussie victory... on a sadder note, has Brendan Jones shot under par on a Saturday this year ????

Just saw on sportsworld that Senden is leading by 3 after the 3rd round. If he goes on what a year for the aussies, and it's only half over.

Pretty Good finish for Jason with a tie for 67 finishing at 3 under. Not a bad debut.

This kid is going to be something else I think, amazing start to a career...easily the best of any of the "young guns" in the past 10 years. I hope he goes on with it as all reports tell me he is a gentleman and appreciates his opportunities.

One or two good results and he could make the top 125s money list. Fingers crossed for him..

Top 150s will get him some sort of exemption for next year. Or he can play the Nationwide tour.

Great future.... Good luck to the kid.
