SG Cabretta Leather Gloves from the UK

Hi all,

as per the glove post in the equip me section, I'm looking to do a group buy of the SG Cabretta Leather Gloves from the UK.

Thats the ebay post. I've messaged the seller and he will do gloves for roughly $3.20 (taking into account paypal exchange rate) PER GLOVE.

Postage has been advised as $35 AUD for up to 6 dozen gloves. Ideally post to my address and onwards from there.

His stock for sizes will be replenished on 10th January 2018, so i'll leave the group buy open to 14th January 2018 and then ill place the order.

If we get more than the 4 or 6 dozen I'm sure ill be able to get the price down more, but at this stage, not including the postage split, $3.20 PER GLOVE, OR $38.40 PER DOZEN gloves.

IF they are good, we can always order again on a larger scale.

Please copy and paste the list as we go so i don't miss your order, AND so i can keep a running tally of the amount.

Include the size and whether LH (for right handed golfer) or RH (lefties)

From trying on a medium, the size seems to run a touch larger than other brands. I tried a small and that was more like the medium's I know. Not the best thing for a glove that will stretch but that's life.

They feel thicker than my current glove. Not much but it's noticiable. I'm happy with them for now at the price, but I would order a size down next time.

Not sure how the other sizes will go. I tried a medium large and it didn't feel a lot bigger than a medium. So who knows.

Ok, so I used mine today, full comp round, hot humid windy.
I went ML, as that’s what I usually buy, size wise perfect.
Tight, but as the round went along the gave a bit and started to fit contours of my hand.
Construction is great, top notch.
Leather thickness is a little thicker then the premium gloves, but I can see these lasting a good while.
Only issue is because they are thicker there’s an issue in the palm.
They sort of don’t stretch and bulk up. When gripping this feels a little uncomfortable.
Also as the round went on the extra bit on the palm bunched too.
Overall for the price great value!

I swapped 3 Med/Large ones with PeteyD (which are pretty much perfect), so have 8 new left hand large left.

I only use a glove if it’s wet or really hot so mine haven’t had a lot of use but they are going fine. My fingers are long & skinny & I think they may be more suited to shorter, fatter fingers. But for the price & amount I use a glove they’re fine. I’d happily buy them again when the ones I have are done.

Have used two so far, the first one split along the stitching around the wrist after a dozen or so rounds but the second one has been fine so far, about the same usage as the first.

Still on my first glove, play once a week. As good as any brand name glove I've bought, mind you I always went with the cheaper ones from ebay. In that regard there the best glove for price to performance. Still got four more in the shed.
