Yeah they swapped to their own brand about 6 months ago. Appear to be made in the same factory going by the packing.

Not on their website, but you can find some reviews online (they sell the same glove in the USA). If you're a member go and have a look

I haven't worn a glove for golf for a long time, yet wouldn't mind gloves for tennis with the amount of sweat on my hands when playing.

Andy if you wear a glove playing tennis you will cop it from all angles.

Is that what the wrist bands are for?

Vice make a good glove I think they’re $10-15 if you buy three, I got some with some balls.

But I’ve been sans glove for a long time.

These are pretty good value for tightarses, decent quality they just take a while to get here.

I hadn't even considered it really, and I didn't even think that it was allowed. I was just making the comment that despite having sweaty hands for sport, I haven't seen the need for a glove in golf.

I have worn wrist bands, but still needed regular towelling. Wrist bands for golf?

Never seen nor heard of them, and not om their website? They did have callaway ones before.

Costco in Melb has both callaway 3 pack Cabretta leather for like $30 and then a kirkland 3 pack Cabretta leather so like $25. good deal for a premium leather 3 pack for the price of 1.
They are not on the website but available in store. Also those gloves from the group buy a year ago were good and seemed to last a fair while for the price.

My pro mentioned that I might be gripping a bit too tight, and a glove might help loosen my grip. I'm not convinced, but I'll give it a go. What gloves are you using at the moment?

BobsYourUncle

Kirkland if you're a costco member. Good and very cheap.

Mizuno tecflex if you have sweaty hands

That's a good point - during summer in Qld I tend to sweath through leather gloves very quickly. I'll often use a wet-weather glove (RJ raingrip, etc.), because they tend to last a lot better and can be washed more easily.

I have been using the Bionic gloves for the last 12 months. They are expensive but they are very good and last longer. I had one for a while but didn’t like the raised bits of finger joints always felt like the glove was to puffy. So they might be perfect for what you need Andy, pretty sure the pads are to help with grip pressure

AndyP

Those Bionics are quite expensive, and there are quite a few different models too and possibly not allowed in the rules.

FJ Raingrips are my glove of choice, with Srixon/Cleveland All Weathers my 2nd choice. They last a long time for me, to the point where they will fall apart at the seams etc before they wear out. I find them good in all conditions, we usually have high humidity conditions for much of the year.

What size glove do you think you need Andy? I have spare LH (for RH Golfers) gloves, but they are XLm so may be too big?

Mizuno Tec Flex for me

Taylor Made Stratus Tec good alternative but not as good with sweat.

Bridgestone e gloves are also good but can go grey and really sweaty in the heat.

FJ gloves are too expensive; too many good cheaper alternatives

Those Bionics are quite expensive, and there are quite a few different models too and possibly not allowed in the rules. I just retired my first Bionic grip, it lasted 6 months on its own and another 6 months in conjunction with another. I now use them in pairs and swap after 9 holes. I only use the leather models because i have leather grips, the Performance model is a sensational glove, but i mostly have the Stable model. Unlike normal leather gloves, they can be put in the washing machine. They are definitely rules conforming. You can put all sorts of stuff on your hands to aid grip.

I can definitely vouch for the longevity, the one I have I bought about 5 years ago and hasn’t hardened from sitting in the bag. I do wear it if my other one rips or gets to wet mid round
