My old man took up golf at age 50......was playing off 5 at 55.... very good at other sports though (rugby league and cricket) ..... i took it up a while ago.......was a motorcycle racer all my life.......my rounds were ok, handicap dropping......played a game with dad......only thing he says is.......you try hit it to hard........your hitting a ball already way further than most guys just back it off a tad........well, ive concentrated on it.......but apart from dropping the handicap further, im actually getting the ball further down with more concistency. Its really hard not to want to go after it......but the old bastard goes ok....thanks dad......
