Ryoma Putters

Any of you JDM experts know anything about Ryoma Putters?

I picked up this absolute beauty. It is called a SwingPro Ryoma L-1 Forged.
Quite possibly the most stunning 8802 variant I have seen.

I have asked around on GolfWrx and the JDMClubhouse forum. But no-one seems to know anything much about Ryoma Putters, particularly this one.
(Although one of the big name regular clubmakers on WRX said he has one too).
There is a heap of info about Ryoma Drivers (which seem crazy exy to me!) but nothing much about putters.
I also found the RyomaGolf website, set an email via their contact page but have heard nothing back in 3 weeks (is their website still 'current'?)

If anyone knows anything, I'm all ears.

Mate, I really just stumbled upon it. Was on gummy. I'd never heard of Ryoma, but just brought it because it looked so damn pretty. And it is in mint condition. I'd be surprised if it's ever seen a green yet.

But I can find no-one who knows anything about it. Ryoma Golf website has 4 different putters listed. But nothing like this.
And TourspecGolf who seem to be the Ryoma dealer, just lists 2 putters. A M3 mallet, and an Anser style P3.

But truthfully, I won't be selling her. She's the flagship of my 20+ strong fleet of 8802 variants.

I just wish I could find out something. When and where made, materials, cost new, why the heck no one knows anything, why I can only find 2 in existence (LaMont on WRX apparently has one :shock:).

Most of my others are Old School mate. Wilsons, Old Masters, Cobra, Spalding etc. Got a newer Wilson Staff 8802 & Staff 8882 Blk. Yes Sophia. Also got Phils Yonex Super ADX.
Love these style putters and use just about all of them in rotation. Like doing up the oldies. One of my faves is a MacGregor VIP. A beauty.
