Been playing some aweful golf of late, thinking of changing irons.I had the 716 AP1 but found the head was to large for my liking.I did play the clubs well although it's hard to move the ball with them. Not a fan of AP2,tried them a few times and can't find the sweet spot.Currently using mp-60,to good for me they need a ball striker to get the best out of them.So what is available that would fill that spot for 13 handicapper with a game assist iron but a head not to large, but not a blade either.

The Mp25 feels much easier to hit compare to the MP60 if that's any help

Get the new Ap3. Half way between the size of Ap1 and ap2.

Had to hire a set in QLD not long ago and they hadTM M2's which I foundnot too gawdy to look at but went like the clappers, very impressed.

This, or if you want to splurge on new, the JPX900 forged look bloody nice. Go far and feel good! Easy to hit too.

When at the fitting centre be sure to say "Now let's have a hit" before every shot but then back off and talk some dribble about how it looks at address.
