Anyone playing an iron set from this line? I'm thinking of grabbing a set of the Hot Metals as I slide gracefully into middle age. Supposed to hit nice and high from what I've heard, 900 Tours are probably a bit beyond my ability. The stock NS Pro 150's also get good wraps.

The tours are pretty as hell but little forgiveness.

The 900 forged are the best in the line - bloody forgiving, long and pretty to look at too.

Maybe get a combo set with hot metal

What Nudgee said, couple of choppers at Jindalee have the hot metals and really like how they hunt :)

I have the forged with PX shafts and they are awesome. Just remember that the lofts are strong on the forged and HM compared to 'normal' lofts.

Hot Metals in the bag, after 3 rounds and some range time these are set. Mine have Modus 105's in reg flex and I love them. They go a club longer and higher than my old 2013 X-Forged irons and feel great when flushed, do yourself a favour.

Bought the forged a few months ago to replace my MP60s.

Thought I was smashing it, 9 iron going 10 metres further. Checked the specs, MP60 8 iron is 39 degrees, JPX 9 iron is 40 degrees. Ended up having to have my gap wedge bent stronger and my 4 iron since it was the same loft as my new 5 iron.

I had an MP 53. Are the heads bigger on the forged JPX 900?
