Been experimenting with a reverse saw grip (no right index finger near the grip) to putt with unbelievable success! . Just discovered the claw to chip with any one else using a 7 wood with a reverse claw to overcome the chipping yips?

Any advice appreciated ! Keeping it simple is the key

I think a 5 hybrid is better than a 7 wood

Is it legal to have a fatso 5 grip on a cut down 7 wood ? Thinking of dropping my 67 wedge for one, just a heads up though the claw grip is not good for lob wedges

Spanner is no good with lob wedges :) Expand that now to anything with a letter not a number on the sole

Why not get a chipping lesson, do some practice on how to do it properly, get some confidence in your game rather than **** around with stuff that is actually harder to do and even harder to repeat regularly

Actually CT, if you're chipping badly, you need a new driver mate!

That ain't going to fix Acute Chipping Yips. Just ask Bogles.

That ain't going to fix Acute Chipping Yips. Just ask Bogles. It should if he practices enough and concentrates on the stroke and not the result. I would try chipping one handed if all else failed
