Stupidly, I didn't wait to see if a Pro version of these irons was coming out before they became the only irons I have bought new in 25 years.
Also stupidly, I didn't put it in writing to the well-respected club builder who replaced the stock XP95 shafts with Steelfiber i95 that I actually wanted them in regular flex.
So the Pro version is being released and they are black so I must have them.
And thus I am about to take a big loss on these.
The Steelhead XRs are a great iron. Very forgiving. Really long. Minimal offset (same as the Apex CF16).
My set is a couple of months old and was purchased from Powergolf. I then had the Golf Doctor reshaft them with Steelfiber i95s at a cost not much less than the irons cost in the first place.
There are light signs of use, except for the five iron and A wedge, which I didn't use. They are 3/4 long, standard lie, with mid size grips.
I'll throw in the original shafts.
$800 would be nice.
I'll post pix later.
