Is that the green that floats and they move it around to vary the distance?

it'd be great to hit a bucket of around 100 balls from that tee wouldn't it 8)

wonder how many balls you'd end up puting on the green from that distance ?

I wonder how long it takes to play the hole, do you need a license to drive the boat ????? cool hole...

That hole/course is in TW2004 for the PC. Not sure about other versions.

yea, it is, i have a very old golf game with this in it as well as tw2004
it does move around, completly floating green.
their practice fairway is hitting balls into the river it runs along, one of the best resort courses in the USA. Love to have a go at it, but sawgrass has so many other holes that are great, the rest of the Coeur d'Alene layout isnt that great, from computer game wise ne way ;)

I see they have even got a shark net around the outside so that they can re-claim the golf balls people are bound to lose ... great design :)

And what happens when you decide you want to use a different club when you get on the island? its not liked you can run back to your bag. Hey you know what, anyone can wait for them to get on the boat and nick off with an almost full back :p

How bloody cool is that? 8) I've seen it on TW2004 as well, and I reckon it would be a real sphincter-pucker on the tee...... :D

I think I heard once that the guy who has the contract to collect the golfballs from the courses waterways (not just this hole) makes about 30K plus a year, and that was 5 or 6 years ago that I heard the story. He scuba's.

I just know none of you want me to comment on it, so I won't.

I'm sure you all know what I would say.

Andrew,

That's a better hole than 16 Cypress Point - I'd love to hear your comments on it. It's very elastic, even featuring a moveable green ;)

Outstanding stuff.

Can they rotate the green as well? So the front-right bunker becomes front-left bunker, etc?

This hole reminds me of the hole in Robina ... Robina Shopping Center, that is.

The best part about the course is the Aqua Carts.

Damn those 'cart only' courses.
