Dear Moderator

I have been collecting information on playing patterns from golfers around the world with a view to exploring ideas for new teaching techniques. We have collected much data from the US and Europe, but are missing a voice from Australian golfers. We'd be grateful if you would allow me to, or indeed if a moderator would post a thread so we can achieve a better balance.

The questionnaire has been received well by those who have already participated. In return we will share the findings back to those who participate so they can see where they stand in the greater scheme of things and have a little additional incentive of a raffle of a Bushnell Golf GPS Neo XS Watch.

You can review the questionnaire here:

Hopefully you'll find it suitable for the OZgolf forum. Thanks

Wow. First question was to provide personal details.

Looks like Cory Bernardi might be getting an unexpected GPS watch.

... no obligation to use your real name Dotty, although you bring up a good point. I'll add a note to that effect on the question. It would explain why I have 3 Tiger Woods, 2 Rory McIlroys and a Jason Day in the list of contributors! :)

You're still a chance, I used your name.

Probably won't get it.

They'll send it to the bloke that comes up, when they put my name into Google and click Images.

If you're less than 6 inches you're definitely not 90-100% chance of getting in the hole.

Interesting. Never thought of using my eyes as the excuse! Thanks!
