Come on guys, we have to band together to get our brother out of his form slump :smt045

As much fun as it would be to see G69 suffer :smt043

I think we should offer anything for him to try :smt014

So put your thinking caps on :-k and lets see what we can offer :smt047

My offering is, no sex or beer [-X for a month and only golf forums in your spare time :smt011

Or pick the one main thing that is pissing you off and work on that if you get any spare time or just work on that before any game.

Terry.

Or the other thing to do, could be accept that your best golf is behind you because of the back and just drift out to the cap that you can play to :smt102

I got to bite the bullet and get a lesson or two but just cant find the time to get onto the practice range too often. Will anything less than a full on assault just be a band-aid solution ?

funny you mention that, coz I'm sure you've mention on a number of occassions that instead of buying clubs, we should be paying for lessons...

then again, I'm sure plently of ppl has said lessons are the best purchase - have probably never done so in the past 12 mths...

You know, mcmw has a point there ;) You have this marvellous new wand, with no idea how to use it!

After being in a slump (still in it really), i'm slowly getting the belief back into my game - and that's where it's at, upstairs. Practice this drill, which i know you do regularly...

Turn your brain off.

just drift out to the cap that you can play to :

How long does it take to drift out to 27?
170 rounds.

What we gotta do is keep on shamin him (we are good it that) until he gets off his backside and gets serious about playing some decent golf.

A bucket of balls a week would do the trick, to get some decent scores running.

How about we all donate to a "Save the Whale fund" and then he cant stop complaining that he cant afford a lesson.

Well if he gets a free lesson, then he can use the money to buy a leave pass.

I think he has to move away from the Gold Coast.

It's turning him into a lazy slob that's in retirement mode....

Do you mind...this thread is about fixing my golf game, not a bloody Avatar Appreciation Society !

mmm, sorry, Halles gone, interest lost.....

One point of interest, has your follow through always been so high, or is that back related (if it isn't, it will be) ???

mate, just go to a qualified PGA pro .... don't listen to any advice from us, we are all hacks :x

go and spend $40 for 1/2 hour, and get set on the straight and narrow.

Good luck.

Judging by the pics I have seen, maybe you need to reign the swing back a bit, swing a bit easier. :?

That's the preferred 'Whaling' method. It's more than just a golf club, it's a way of life..
