I think you'll find that a Ping Tour shaft will play shorter than 45".

The standard length for the Tour 65 and 80 in the G30 and G is 45.25".

The standard length for the Tour 65 and 80 in the G30 and G is 45.25".Interesting. Mine is definitely shorter. I queried it and was directed to a couple of Golf WRX posts that seemed to confirm that the Ping Tour Shafts are a tad shorter.

They are a tad shorter, a full 1/2". Stock is 45.75".

I have a Rouge110 MSI 60-3.1-X I picked up the other day that I wont be using ,measures 43.5" paid $100 if that's around the ballpark!

No less than 45" even if it's a gripped measure.

Be no less than 45.25" in the Ping then with a bit of prep showing above the adapter if no ferrule used.
