Gents, Ladies,

Going to the Sunshine coast for a little trip with the bats. Any recommendations for tracks that are good and in good nick ?

Noosa springs was in great nick 2 weeks ago but I was told it was the only course up there that hadn't been cored. I assume it's done now.

Maroochy river is worth a visit I reckon

Mate played Maroochy on Monday said still a few weeks away from recovering. Maroochy is best course there. Palmer and Pelican are solid.

Twin Waters are jerks, Noosa is dinky, and Peregian is closed.

Peregian closed ? - you mean closed down?

Depends on how far you want to travel, and the type of course you like to play. Bribie Island GC is always worth a visit. And Pacific Harbour is a good resort style course nearby.

Also on the south end you have Pelican Waters, if you like Norman courses.

The new Maroochydore River course is different and worth a look. Nearby to there you have Twin Waters which always seems to be in good nick. And up the road is Palmer Coolum, which was still in good nick the last I heard.

Noosa Springs is also a quality course.

Maybe Goneskis is a little harsh.

Looks like the administrators found someone to run it - same people who run St Andrews Beach actually.

Played Headland recently, it was pretty dry, but recent rain may have helped. Not your resort track but an interesting layout in excellent nick.

I played Noosa Springs, Pelican Waters and Twin Waters 2 weekends ago. Pelican Waters is the best up there (IMO) but a fair way, Noosa Springs is in good nick and Twin Waters had just been cored.
