According to the GD website the ADBB 6 shaft only comes in SR, S or X, so this one being a Reg must be fake. I could be wrong just don't want anyone to be stung.

That's surprising, as I know a lot of the Asian LPGA golfers use regular flex ad tour shafts

The ADBB 5 comes in Reg, just not the heavier shafts.

Like I say, I could be wrong, just going off their website for the ADBB series shaft.

Looking at the 0 in 460 and the M, they do appear to be different to images I just found on google:

http://www.pgatour.com/equipmentreport/2015/09/10/golf-equipment-photos-taylormade-new-m1-driver-fairway-woods-hybrids.html

Maybe I'm looking too hard, bu the numbers are always a bit fatter in the knockoffs and the gaps a bit larger.

The shaft is dead fake, no idea about the head but if it's from the same source as the shaft it's also fake. Quality paintfill on the 1 in M1

Not surprisingly, the ad was recently updated noting that Bank transfer preferred.

More difficult to get your cash back

They're about $10 each from China, depends on how many you buy.

Can you enlighten us to what are the obvious signs? I am not an expert on fake shafts, but I am assuming in this case it is the lettering and lack of the "hologram" graphics? In this case the seller seems to have a solid selling history and states it is genuine. Makes you wonder how (or if, I guess) they were fooled?

I doubt the seller is aware of it being fake but it 100% is.I'll do some comparison photos when I'm back on the computer but the main telltale signs are- No white strip running up the middle of the Tour AD graphics where the label overlaps.- No white line through the blue shading before the first ring (again from the overlap)- Gap between the 6 and the s is way too big, font for the s is off too.- Look at the E in ACCURACY & DISTANCE and where it finishes, with the real ones the E is positioned further down the shaft. Difficult to explain but if you look at a photo of a real one you'll see what I mean.I don't bother reporting the fakes because eBay does nothing. I used to politely inform the seller but invariably they get aggressive and think you are accusing them of being a scammer, even had one clown sabotage my own auctions for some bizarre reason.

Thanks. I have a genuine shaft in front of me, so I can now see the differences. Quite subtle to the casual eye. You need to know what you are looking for.

I have had a reasonable amount of luck in reporting fakes. But I do make sure I have researched them and am specific about why it is a fake.

PS. The Hyphen (between the second B and the 6) also looks to be different. It is solid blue on the shaft in front of me.

I am not 100% sure this is dodgy, but I reckon I could sign up for 99.9%;
