View Full Version : Wanted: M2 Driver Head

Looking for an M2 driver head, preferably in the 9.5 or 10.5 degree loft. Will trade my M1 9.5 head for it. Or buy pending price. Would like to take all the sliding weight options away so I can focus on just hitting the ball and not worrying about how club is setup. Also like the added forgiveness of the M2.

Good decision, best driver I've hit this year.

Yeah from all reports it's a real winner. I like the M1, but thinking the simplicity of the M2 will be more beneficial for my game.

Great heads, they are stupid popular right now on tour. What do they sell for?

on Golf Support you can get a brand new M2 driver with custom specs (pending exactly what they are) for $384. Drummond are doing them for $450 on sale at the moment.

I have the m1 and hit it unbelievably but there is so much good chat about the m2. Anyone played both?

My pal has an M2 so i might just borrow his head and put it on my shaft, that way i get a true feel of what it's like. Alternatively i'll hit up my pro shop and see if they've got a demo i can borrow.

$384 is a great price.

I've got both, only hit the m1 on course once.
So far prefer the m2
Will put same shaft in m1 next time and see how it performs

Yes, I bought my titleist irons from there, and they're perfect. Have also bought an Odyssey putter plus some accessories. Anything under $1000 won't sting you with the GST bill once it hit's Australia. Spend over $1000 and you'll get some sort of charge to pay. I think anything under $300 is $30 or so shipping, anything between $300 & $550 is maybe $15 shipping and anything over $550 is free shipping. It is pretty quick if they have stock, like maybe a week. If they have to build/order it in, it may take 2-3 weeks. Communication is fantastic, they give you plenty of updates and if they don't have stock they let you know pretty quick. Also get quite a good list of custom shafts etc for no upcharge, but then even more exotic shafts for some upcharge. Definitely worth a look.

I have played both. M2 feels better than M1 and is just as long. I seem to hit the middle of the M2 more - no idea why!

Played 18 with a 917D2 9.5* with Tour Spec 74x and loved it. Will probably order one, but I will keep my M2 just in case!

I found the M2 much like the SLDR in that it's very shaft dependant. Put the wrong shaft in & it plays horribly but match with a beauty & it's a gem. The M2 feels way lighter than the M1 & feels softer off the face but if you need more help with your ball flight going left or right, the M1 is your huckleberry.
At the moment I have
F6+
King ltd
King ltd Pro
M1 430
G30 ls
Sldr 430
Sldr 460
Callaway 816 dbd
915 D3
M2
Out of those I choose to play the M2 because it does everything I want.

Love mine as well.
There's a reason lots of these are being played on tour at the moment. They're legit.
Would love to know how many m1/m2s at the recent HSBC championship.

Don't think the winner of the HSBC used one.

6 players in the top 10 have M1/M2's in the bag.
