I had the worst display of putting you have ever seen today!
7, 3 putts! and missed 3 others inside 6 feet!
So i reckon the best thing to do is look for a new putter.
Not sure what I'm looking for maybe a Newport 2, Odyssey # 7 must be 35' and no fat grips please
I have a couple of trades available Ping Ketsch and Taylormade Spider
Help required!! Really want something before next Saturday

I am loving my Ghost Spider slant , best thing I bought for my game , and it was the last putter I thought I would own (re looks) but it grows on me every one putt

Get a piece of 25mm plastic conduit about 8 inches long and putt on the carpet, it teaches you to have a square face at impact.

The Spider Slant feels awesome to stroke and great off the face but for some reason it seems to sits open for me.
Which on the shorter putts is distracting.
If i sit it on a flat surface like a kitchen bench the shaft angle seems to be about 10 degrees behind the ball.
I actually tried to get in contact with Lajosi yesterday to see if he could adjust it for me.
Is there anyone else around that can sort it?
The Ketsch feels good but fat Super Strokes are just not for me
Problem is both will take time I'm after a quick fix! lol!

This is me holding the putter square on the ground and you can see the shaft angle against my kitchen bench.
If it someone has suggestions on how or who can adjust it that would be great!!

You could go to Jon at TGP (total golf performance) is an excellent club fitter and a nice guy .
Also could go to MGA ,Taylormade has one of those fitting labs there where you can get everything checked to make sure you are using the best putter for you. I am going there soon as I need to get my whole bag checked out .

CC - Yeah its weird, the head sits well but the rest doesn't line up
Grumpy8 - Yeah i've meet Jon from TGP he may be a solution
Jado - the problem is with a forward press is that it ends up with about -5 degrees loft and i just hit the ball straight into ground
Matt3Jab- Im in Heathmont, Melbourne, $160 for the Ketsch, $150 for the Spider plus post, What do you have?

I'm pretty sure it's right on the 35" mark and it's longer than my 34" putter.

Also have a Cleveland TA1 milled Newport.

Twice the weight of a normal putter. Designed to take the hands out of the stroke. Good for short putts and when you miss the sweet spot. I'm in Melbourne, welcome to try.

Why don't you rip the superstroke off the Ketsch and add some lead tape as an experiment? I found improvement going from the stock Ketsch to the heavier (388g), one.

If you want to try an easy experiment in counter balancing without stuffing around with the grip, stick a PH screw driver through the hole in the top and get on the practice green or carpet. A medium sized Philips head is about 100g.

Well worth a try. I have the E3-DF version and it gets put back into the bag every couple of months whenever I get too 'handsy'. I rotate it back out again after a while (looking for a new holy grail), but it stays as the backup. I have tried their lite- and mid-weight versions and didn't think a lot of them, but I will never sell my heavy-weight.
