Thoughts and opinions on more forgiving back up set?

If the 54's are the same as the 52's and 53's, they would be easier to play than the MC's.

MC's aren't too hard, but the 54's would be closer to the TM CB model really.

I found the MC's have quite a low ball flight.

Haven't hit the 54's on the course but my preference would be on the MC's if you're talking about the ones with the slots. I've had a set of those and it's probably the only set of irons I regret selling. Nice sticks.

I found the MC's have quite a low ball flight.

I was thinking the MC's with SP red shafts to get the flight up?

I've not hit the 54s, but I'd say so. They have that slot/cavity in the back, which makes the head look a fair bit bigger and friendlier than the 64s, which are damn near the best irons I've ever owned.

Mate with the MC long irons not being forged did you notice any major difference to the short irons in playability..

Cause I'm the next Michael Campbell...haha

Doesn't make any difference at all bud. In fact, I probably preferred the long irons over the short irons. The only club I probably would have change was the PW. Didn't get along with it for some reason.
