Oatlands Friday 26th May

Is there any interest from the NSW Oz Golfers to play Oatlands on Friday. I am looking at an earlyish (9am Tee off). Have an appointment in Westmead at 2:30pm so thought I would head over early and try out this Group 1 course.

Not that my game is up to it at the moment but would like to try out another course.

Not yet just need to confirm with ball and chain about amount of hours spent away but will look at a tentative booking today and will confirm with you later today early tomorrow.

Approval sought and granted. Booked for 9:10am for Grant and myself at this stage. There is some free spaces but they won't last long. anyone interested in joining us get in quick.

i would love to play but i took friday off last week to play newcastle, which was a excellent fun even if i didnt take it very seriously lol :P...

but i would have to pass on this one, considering I've played it once already but i would love a return...

From there website its $40 for the round and $10 comp fee.

Unless of course you have reciprical rights (like me and then its only $10 comp fee.)

I love being a country member of a good course that has recipricals with a bunch of top courses

Well we played Oatland's, nothing of note to recall from the mornings play from my perspective.
Jamaal chipped in on the 9th for a bidie after a drop off the 7th Green beside it. I will try and get him to join us for more games & the group. Jono & Vince played ok, Jono was hitting his new driver. Jarro you thought the Cobra was loud, you should hear this thing:shock:

Yep. 8) A 12 degree model with your NV65 ... Came out 44 inches. Works great as a "2 wood". Cobra goes about 15 meters further.

It LOOKS like a Hibore ... It goes high like a Hibore ... But it sounds like nothing you've ever heard from a golf club before. Imagine dropping an empty paint tin from a 12 storey building ... It's something like that.

I was 3 up on my handicap with 4 holes to go ... Finished with a series of one pointers to end up with 36 points. I think Vince got 34 points. Don't know about Grant and Jamaal.
