I'm not one for buying clubs new.

And I'm not even a massive fan of the Apex.

But as a proud Kiwi I am a massive fan of all black clubs.

Anyone know if these are going to be released here?

Trouble is black irons tend to wear so you have to get them young.

I recently tried a set of Wilson Tour M3, but they'd lost too much blackness.

And my Cleveland RTX wedges look very black from address, but viewed in the bag the sole wear is disappointing.

On the other hand, I bought a Taylormade R7 Superquad 9 years ago simply because it had a black face. It has been retired, but I checked it the other day and the face has held up remarkably well considering I used it up until this year.

It's replacement is not realy an improvement, but that's another story.

I bought a set of the Apex pro 16 this week,and I'm a Mizuno nut,but these I've gotta say are tasty..

I have xr pro irons and used to be a mizuno nut, love my pros but seriously wanting forged again and 16s are on my radar, guess I am just a ho.
