To all the Shimada players out there.

Might have a set of Shimada Tour Lite lined up in my shaft search, but couldn't find any info on flex.

Just wondering if anyone has tried them and can comment if they are soft/firm to flex, or if there are any other shafts that feel the same flex.

Cheers,
Ben

Ben I have Al's Shimada's installed in my workshop at the mo.

I can put them on the CPM machine and give you a theoretical stiffness to flex if that helps.

Bit on TSG Benno, D22 seems to think they go great having also used modus 130, 120x so seem true to flex from what I have read

That would be awesome chappy, would love to know what they compare to.

Ben a 5 iron playing a 1/4 over standard length CPM'd at 298 gripped.

Add your 9 cycles for the grip and you are smack on the Royal Precision number for stiff.

Hope this helps

Thanks Chappy, most appreciated.

So as per Al said, PX 5.5 comes out as a true stiff (FCM6.0). As does KBS Tour S.

Both these shafts are a bit too much for me, so maybe Shimada Tour Lite softstep might be worth a try.

Cheers.

Ben the 5.5 shaft at the same playing length albeit with a differen head cycled at 312 gripped. Considerably stiffer

Alright, they are brand new uncut, so I'll give them a go straight in, that way if they are no good, I can sell them at a decent length.

Thanks for the help Chappy.
