View Full Version : Is my Adjustable Adaptor RH or LH?

There is usually a way to tell, but each OEM is different. This thread is to record how you can check if you aren't sure. Please update or correct and I will update the OP.

Adams - FastFit Adaptors are usually marked RH or LH. More recent models use the TM Adaptors.

Callaway - Optift adapters, on the LH versions the settings Letters/Numbers are underlined

Cleveland/Srixon - Adapters ??

Cobra - Adaptors, LH sleeves are usually marked as such.

Mizuno - Adapters are marked RH or LH.

Nike - Flexloft - Top ring is marked either DR(RH) or DL (LH). If it is a DL, there will also be a 2nd ring of lofts above the RH ones, which mirror them. Ditto for FW and Hybrid e.g. 3W R or 3W L etc

Ping - Adapters are marked via the lettering, RH are solid fill, LH fill is a cross cut pattern.

Titleist - Surefit Adapters are all the same, the settings charts have RH and LH versions.

Does anyone know if there is left and right hand version of Callaway Hybrid tips??

No idea, it's for a client.

If it's is a right handed one, is there a conversion chart?

I assume the client is a lefty? If so and the numbers letter aren't underlined (meaning it is a RH Adapter) then mirror reverse. S and N are the same, everything else is opposite e.g. +2 = - 2, +1 = -1 and vice versa.
