Thinking of heading out there for a vardon event, but it's going to be an hours drive for me. Has anyone played it recently?? Is it worth the trip??

I Havnt played it for a while now either, but it was ordinary and unless they have spent a zillion dollars and done some renovations, I'd give it a miss.

Played it on Sunday. Greens were in pretty good nick, fairways were a little patchy in places but ok.
