Got these of Pete the Pilot a month or so ago and while fantastic irons my game doesn't justify them.

They are a combo set with the 4-6 irons having dual pocket cavities (or some other mumbo jumbo technology) and the 7-PW as per the website below-

https://www.bridgestonegolf.com/product/clubs/archive/j40-combo-irons

Chappy fitted them with True Temper XP 90 reg's for me.

Golf pride tour velvet grips with plenty of life left in them.

Looking to get the $280 I paid for them (plus post).

If I hadn't just bought some Srixons I'd grab these. Had a set before, great irons!

I have a lot as I said. More better player sets than GI. What sort of irons are you after? I would be very interested in a trade.

Quite a few collector sets. (limited edition anniversary type sets). Modern classics. Some JDM. A lot of these I like to keep but do also have some sets I might be able to bring myself to part with. Have not done a proper count lately but it is over 60 sets I think.

Holy ***t, this could be one hell of a frustrating week coming up for you, deciding what to list and what to keep...you will definetly need your own post..

Ironically enough of all the sets I have the ones that perform best for me is a set of Dynacast ping eye 2 clones that I paid all of $40 for.

Yes for sure. They are the Tour Model 3's of course.

Seriously though they are great irons. 431 stainless and very soft actually. When I did loft and lie they were very easily bent and they feel lovely off the face.

Mate didn't they have their own components website years ago?

Might even still make equipment. They are an Aussie company that started in a garage and progressed to make some really great stuff with their own factory. Queensland mob I think. They must have used components for their own stuff as they would not have had the ability to cast heads for example. Obviously it is hard to compete with the big boys so they were relegated to the cheap end of the market but the irons I have can easily match it with the original pings. They are really very well made and as I said perform very well.

Sorry to threadjack Hacker.

Dynacast is in SA and started life 30 years ago from Yankalilla. (Ironically where the best Kitcheners are as well).
They are now based in Lonsdale SA with a brand new factory and are distributors for Garmin, Graffaloy, Project X and the like.
Still have their own brand also.
