Hi all,

I have had a horrible slice now for quite a long time making a game not fun anymore. I have heard of using a water bottle to correct the swing. Just wandering if anyone has tried this and if so how to go about it

Never heard of water bottle drill, but the water bucket drill/visualisation goes back to Harvey Penick's day.

Here's something google found ...

Is it similar to the schooner drill?

PS in Adelaide they call it a pot or a pint or something else.

Is that like water boarding?

I presume they mean this one? There are other drills for other issues that also use a water bottle.

You can also use Tees, Balls and Swim Noodles, amongst other things. It will just be more dramatic if you catch a bottle of water! SKLZ also make a device call a Slice Eliminator that works on the same principle

Just think of all the alternative faults you could ingrain trying to miss the bottles :D
