Anyone else have one of these?

Mine is out of the box, assembled, charged, working... but the remote just wont operate.

Nothing in the manual. This is all I can find:

I have done this, say, 50 times?! Still won't work.

No Customer Service until Tuesday, but I'd like to use it tomorrow...

Any ideas/experience?

Got mine just a few weeks ago and never had to do this. Worked straight out of the box. I read the user manual from front to back and as you said, nothing in there said to do this. Sorry to ask, but did your remote charge properly? Maybe the remote is not charged properly. Is it showing the remote charge on the display panel? Mine showed different lights from what the manual said when charging but charged fully and is operating no problem without doing this "pairing" thing.

Ty, J.

And, yep — charged up and all working, but for the remote.

The remote is lighting up and all, just has no effect on the buggy.

Thanks, though.

Bloody hell, that's annoying. Hopefully the shop you bought it at is open tomorrow. Maybe they can help without contacting MGI. What a bummer.

Gaz — haven't played much of late, so I haven't been using it.

But they fixed me up with a new remote, and it's working well.

It's a good product... but at ~$300 for a Clicgear, I'm not convinced these are 7 times better at ~$2000.

I much prefer the older model to the quad.

I don't think it's worth 2K, but I wouldn't trade it for the world.

How many holes do you get out of these things on a charge? Would it do 18, sit in the car overnight then do another 18 the next day?

These are only sold with a lithium battery and they recommend you charge it fully after 18 holes. Might be an issue if you play 36 in a day but can't you just charge it overnight?

I've got the larger lithium with mine and can get 36.

Charging the battery is simple, unless you are staying somewhere without power, like Simms on a tee block.
