So was wondering about this this morning. I've seen and read different things, like in one of Norman's old books where he says you simply aim your club at the target and align your feet in the direction where you want the ball to start and seeing normally down the line of your stance. And some old Jack vids where he turns the club in his hands to open or shut.

So what works for you guys? Is it something simple or more convoluted? Do you try and hold the clubhead open or closed through impact?

I think Crossfield did a bid on this and simplified it immensely, search it....

Very simple;

Cut - Open stance, slightly open clubface, roll bottom hand over. Swing club out to in.

Draw - Closed stance, slightly closed clubface, roll bottom hand under. Swing club in to out.

Basic fade or draw, aim the face where you want it to start then aim the feet the opposite of where you want it to go.

E.g. as a Righty if you want to hit a 5 metre fade aim the club 5 metres left of the finish target, then aim the feet 5 metres left of that.

If you want to really hook or slice it that is where holding it off and intentionally rolling it hard comes in.
