Thinking of putting this in a SLDR mini, has anyone tried these in a Fairway Wood??

Cheers

Is the Black the low or high launch?

It's supposed to be low.

MB, going back a while I had an 8M3 in a TM fairway.

TBH, I didn't like it all that much.

Performance was okay, but it felt kinda harsh...

Was it fairly low launch??

7m3 isn't a low launching shaft, they are listed as low but the 6m3 comes out lower. I've played them in fairways before with great results & while they are only 70 something grams, they feel much heavier & are too much work.

got one in a 3 Deep 13*, low bomber, great stick

I still have that 8M3. I actually liked it, but found it a touch soft and didn't want to tip it.

I found it was mid launch.

Haha, is it that right? Still got the head?

I just couldn't get the feel of the M3 line. I'd had the F7M2 LTD and 8M2 previously, and I thought the M3s would just be more of the same... but, yeah, they just felt harsh to me.

Still love the head, but I am going through a "no fairway wood" phase, so it is on the bench.

Only tried it in driver, and liking it. Seems between mid and low launch to me.

Bluuuu you will prefer a black tie 8m3 for a FW set up

So at the top, hybrids or 1 and 2 irons?

so is your 4i the gap between the 16 & 23 JC???

The hybrid probably gives me 10m more at triple or quadruple the height.

To be honest, the 4i is mainly used to give me good distance hitting it through and under the trees at my home course.

I never used to carry it, but forgot it wa in there after I played a round at a links track. I ended up using it about 3or4 times that round with good success

You don't think it will be too heavy or stout??

I use the 8M3 on my RBZ 3, works a treat, didnt like the 7 in the 3 wood. As for weight I suppose if you are only using a light driver shaft and light hybrids it maybe to heavy.

Only used one in my driver but found it way too low launching so probably better suited to fairway wood as they have more ante angle than my 9.5
