Hi All,

beginner golfer, started at xmas and loving it. I'm over in Perth with work and looking to play a bit,

Anyone reccommend a good course that doesnt break the bank?

hoping I can get a few 9 holes in after work, can knock off early.

Also where to play on the weekends.

Cheers all, and if anyone would like a game the more the merrier!

Where are you staying?

Wembley, Collier Park and Maylands are all nice tracks of you're new to golf. Maylands dead flat and not particularly interesting for golf, but is right on the river and usually in good condition.

Staying in the Parmelia in the CBD. Had my best round lately a 94 so my scores are defintely coming down. Was horrific in January but getting consistent now, accuracy is still an issue.
My lowest iron is a 4 and my next longest club is my driver so im thinking i might buy a 3 wood to fill that gap.

Thanks Ashes will check out those courses.

Beginner golfer, already beating Ashes (and Simmsy the other week).

Try a 4 wood or a hybrid. Hybrids are generally easier to hit.
