I've been gaming a Odyssey Versa 1W the last 12 months and ever since the Odyssey Work 1W came out with the the milled face, I have been wanting to upgrade. However, I couldn't bring myself to spend the extra $$ on another putter. That's when I found an alternative.

I was able to find a US based company, Spryevo, who made inserts specifically for Odyssey putters to get a 10g aluminium insert.

They also gave step by step instructions to remove the original plastic insert and to glue and seal the new insert.

Not only does the putter feel a lot better and has a fresher look. I have a customised putter, for a fraction of the price of the Odyssey Works 1W.

They also do copper so you can get the headweight up as well.

My only concern with the white insert , is I don't like the feel so this is a great option

Yeah, very keen on the copper. See he has previously made a copper insert for a Studio Style 1.5, I have a Studio Style 1.5 that needs a refurb.

I think there might be an arranged marriage in the making!

Apparently if you get it out after boiling the head in water makes it pliable enough to pull out undamaged.

Thinking of a few options. More likely to send to Putterlounge to get it done in white polymer.

Or cleaning it up and blasting it satin myself.

I switched from plastic insert putter to milled forged a few months back and love how true it comes of the face. My putting has improved heaps.

Interesting indeed

Im now thinking of gettin a carbon fibre one for my#9 ProType and sending the head to Kari to get him till mill out an insert cavity

And get it electroplated blue while im at it

Yeah, I was looking at the Copper one aswell but, I was only wanting to go an extra 10g. I think the TeCu is 12g up.

The copper is 50g up. The carbon is 10
