Interested to know how everyone starts their downswing.

I have noticed lately an over the top action has crept back into my swing (or worse then it was) and when playing on the weekend a friend recorded my swing using the slow-mo on an iPhone. It was very evident that when I started my backswing I bumped my hands over via a shift from the left shoulder.

So how does everyone commence their downswing?

About 10 weeks ago I had a few lessons with the club pro. He said I should be starting my downswing by turning my hips first, this will then naturally begin my arms coming through to the ball.
Been trying to do this and have made better contact with the ball lately. Was frustrating at first but have dropped at least 3 shots since then.

How do you start a baseball swing...

Same way as that. Shut your eyes when you base ball swing to get a good picture

Had a lesson recently where I was shown how mimicking a baseball swing shows how to naturally get your head and body in behind the ball. Hadn't realised till I saw it on a mirror that my head and centre was way ahead of the ball. Once I got the feeling of being "behind" the ball, it all clicked into place again.
