No three putts, no doubles or worse and no 6's on the card. Should be interesting with the lack of practice I get!

Get back to low single figures then lapse golf club membership but still play regular social golf. Play in OZgolf champs off 25 cap and win then vanish.😎

What are you off now Ray?

You flushed it around the first few holes at St Andrews Beach before your back went

Cheers for your nice words to mate.

You hit it nice to mate,it was good day until my back went,I did it good to mate that day,had to go home that night to sort it out,but I'm on the mend Ash!

Well...mine have changed. I got down to 7.1 last week, my lowest ever handicap. Hit my lowest score with 78.

I am expecting my first kid...well today is the due date actually....so anytime real soon.

My goal was to get as low as I could before that happened. Although my other half as said "you can play golf each week" I think I will be playing that by ear, as to be honest, I just want to try to be the best Dad I can be and maybe get the kid to 5 years old before I emotionally scar them for life.

So my golf goals for this year.....

1) Set up practice area in shed.
2) Keep handicap below 10.
3) Play 30 rounds in the year (pretty sure I got my 50 in this year).
4) Be more optimistic on the course. With less practice and game time, I can't expect to play like I have been.
5) Break par for 9 holes....unrealistic but got to have something to shoot for I suppose.

In the end...most of that will not happen as the "Be there for the boy and wife as much as I can" will take precedence over everything I reckon ;)

Well, I managed to play the worst round I've ever played and the best round I've ever played back to back this year (check my sig if you don't believe me!), so I'm hoping for a bit more consistency in the new year.

I think my main problem with my game is just that.. I think too much.. so I'm hoping for less thinking in the new year too. ;)

Oh, and Congrats slothman! :)

It's not the 13 that concerns me, it's what happens on the other 5 holes.

Once again, I won't set any scoring goals, because there is no point setting goals if you don't work towards them.

I'd like to get to the Qld OZgolf Champs for the 12th straight year, although it may not be easy during junior footy season.
If I qualified for the club matchplay finals again, it would be nice too.

It's only a goal.

Like transferring those plants that have outgrown their pots, cutting out takeaway and Jaryd Hayne making it in NFL.

I didn't post my 2015 goals but I wanted to get back to single figures and I did that, which is nice, and set a new PB in the process.

I guess for 2016 I want to reduce the cap a bit more and be more consistent.

Try to get to scratch. Am down to 3 at the moment so not to far off. Also like to shot under par on the home course, shot even a few times and under par on both the nines but never together.

2016: Don't get worse (the redux)

I did well for the first part of the year, dropping to 5 at the lowest. Post trip O/S though, I have struggled a bit with the same old swing flaws. I should probably get a lesson some day.

Blow out to double figures.

Fail for 2016

I was on my way at one stage carding the odd double figure flag round before bumping that with another single one teasing me that I might be able to play ok again.
