Just referred to join the forum by my good friend. From Gordon, Sydney. Started getting serious about golf like 5 years ago in my 30s and wonder why I did not start this wonder game earlier in my life. Member at Killara GC, playing off 15.2

Welcome to the funny farm. You must have one leg shorter than other to play at Killara ;) There's not a single piece of flat ground out there is there? Just curious, a few nice private clubs in that part of the world. How did you choose which one you wanted to join?

Having a young family, I chose the closest one to home. Having a chance to play a few holes after work in Daylight Savings is gold in my opinion.

Absolutely. Good call. It is gold being close to the golf course. Much easier to tell the missus you're only 5-10 mins away when you've had a couple of quick holes after work :)
