Thank God I made up the 3 shot deficit to CRAshes to take out the TourFit Challenge. But was disappoint that his two best shots of the day were with one of the ONLY non TourFit clubs in his bag. I didn't win 7&6 though.

Big kudos to Lefty for making his way West again. Above and beyond, but the biggest glutton for punishment EVER. Paired up with the nemesis today and got pumped by someone different for a change. Though JC's lack of performance in the team game may have screwed Lefty again anyway.

HIGHLIGHTS:

1) Ashes comment in Friday game that he was worried about us hitting over the water, with JC's comment that he & I have no problem with that and that Ashes was the worry. I proceed to hit it in the piss, followed by JC, then my next as well. SO GOOD.

2) Replicating the Binningup 60* shank and 2 holes later topping it so bad that it nearly hit my elbow on the way up!

3) Ashes hitting hybrid from 176m to 6ft pin high, and then 2 holes later standing on the tee of a 180m Par 3 saying he had no club for this shot. Proceeds to hit it to 4ft and wins NTP. NUMPTY (great shot though :lol:)

4) Trivia night, and I'm sure what will now be WAnker folklore. Q) Yoss played TommyG in 9 hole matchplay... who won and what was the margin. Ashes guessed the margin was 7&6. GOLD.

5) Whatever the funny comment Yoss made at presentation.

6) Simmsy asking Ashes for one of us to throw over a small carton of milk from balcony to balcony. He took the job on himself (a throw of no more than 15ft) and proceeded to half shank it, bounce it off the rail, down a step or two before poor Simms could get a handle on it. Dropped straight off the stairs and WAAAYYY down.

7) Lefty complaining of a sore arse at having to sit on one of the wooden dining chairs for a while. And then squeezing up to Yoss on the couch. :shock:

8) Friday format - ball toss.

9) The return of the prodigal Joaquin.

10) Shadesy taking NTP on Secret 16... for me to pinch it 30 seconds later. Shadesy sinking his great birdie putt.... for me to sink mine 15 seconds later. Only time he lost ALL weekend I think. WAnker.

Cheers to everyone that I had a hit with. JC and Fit, despite throwing a Friday win into the lake on 8. Adlo, stuffed if I know how we took the team game against JC/GK down to the wire.... Fit, impressive effort to shoot 35pts in a round that included the purest of hosel rockets, the coldest of cold tops, and some of the best flubbed wedges ever. GK, could have been a quality round today if those putts dropped like usual.
