Any suggestions for golf courses/clubs in or around the Woodvale area in Western Australia that:

Allow private buggies to be used on the course.
Have partner or family membership packages.
Reasonable in membership costs.
Reasonable on competition fees.
Nil cost for social golf rounds as a member.
Course set up and presentation is reasonably consistent all year round.
Barring weather, is usually available all year round.
Cheers

Ned

Lakelands if you like flat and boring, Sun City if you like a challenge. or public coarses Carramar which has good undulation, or Marrangaroo for a more flat coarse.

Wanneroo is a very solid track.

Lakelands isn't as bad as Mike says.

I really rate Sun City.

Been at Wanneroo last two Sunday mornings with the 9 year old playing in junior comp, it's in good nick and looks like an enjoyable track. Seem to have a membership category for everyone

I've only played it once, but found it very enjoyable with a good variety of holes.

Sun City probably the best layout?

Lakelands probably the closest.

Wanneroo probably the best combo of price/layout/distance.

^ This.

They are really your only options in that area. Although it depends what you consider to be reasonable membership costs. You would be looking at $2000 - $2500 for annual subs for men's 7 day. Add to that any noms, house credit, levies etc. Unfortunately that's what you have to pay for pretty much anything in the Perth metro area.
Have played Wanneroo a few times and it has been in good condition everytime. Would consider joining there if it was closer to home.

Wanneroo for 7 day is $2,886 with a $252 house credit. They have about 20 different membership options available though so something to suit most people.

Lakelands CC. no bar levy

Allow private buggies to be used on the course. - yes with a medical cert
Have partner or family membership packages. - not to my knowledge
Reasonable in membership costs. - about the same as most other clubs
Reasonable on competition fees. - usually $8
Nil cost for social golf rounds as a member. - yes nil cost
Course set up and presentation is reasonably consistent all year round. - lots of changes happening
Barring weather, is usually available all year round. - very occasional closings due to large downpours (maybe one a year). being built on sand eliminates that problem. some sundays in pennant season the course is not available.

Lakelands close but Wanneroo a better course.
OR you could head a bit further south to Karrinyup if money is no object.
