Hi Guys,

Yes I am still alive Haven't had time to scratch myself since being in Brisbane.

Just an update on Gawler on Sat.

Greens were cored 5 weeks ago and by the weekend should be spot on though not as quick as they can be.

There is a BBQ up until about 12 where you can get Kranskies, Sausage on a roll etc.

Also if enough people are interested they will keep kitchen open till we finish. Usually closes about 3pm.

Steak Sandwiches,Chips etc. Let me know if you would like a feed when we finish.

There is a range facilities and carts available if required. You are playing in the comp.

Cheers,
HB

According to the envelope full of money that nadg gave me yesterday for this, I think everyone has already paid the comp fee

Great to see the club re-brand back to its proper name.

& the colour has changed from 'old fart' maroon to a modern blue.

Looking forward to Saturday - I haven't played the course for a very long time

That is correct, the green fee price they quoted for the group included a Comp. fee for the day.

HB,

Is there a halfway house, or provision to grab food from the kitchen at halfway? That may be better than keeping the kitchen open just for us, particularly as we might be trying to keep some room in our stomachs for big schnitzels later on.

A kransky off the BBQ sounds good.

Is there a halfway house, or provision to grab food from the kitchen at halfway?Yep, it would be best described as a halfway hut with a BBQ. Quite tasty lunch last time I was there.

Hey Jim yes that makes sense. BBQ Hut closes about 12

Kitchen open till 3pm so we can have a feed and drink at the half way mark.
I will let the club know that is our intention, that will be fine I think.
