Can't believe we're not talking about this already. Appleby has a 4 shot lead with 9 left to play. Looking pretty good for an aussie double the last two weeks. Also will be his second win of the year.

The win should boost him up to no. 4 on the money list too, just behind ogilvy. 2 aussies in the top 4 on the pga tour money list (phil and tiger 1 and 2). How sweet would that be

Go apples......................

5 shot lead with 8 to play. And I think he's been the leader since round 1. I still can't believe we're not all over this.

Still 5 shots, but he's getting plenty of birdies to keep him in front. 7 holes left.

First solid PGA Tour win for an aussie that i can recall. He's lead much of the comp and doesn't look like he showed a weakness. Will be a great win.

Great win by Appleby. Hit a massive drive on 18, only had PW in on a 490y hole!!! Hopefully should be a good event next week, up against a few bigger names....

golf telecast was showing his stats this week compared to his year-to-date stats....

taking his yearly stats into account - it's one of those weeks...

Really liked the look of Appleby's putter which I believe is a Yes! C Groove Tracy. Thought about getting one til I saw the price :-s
$300 for a putter, no thankyou

why not you use it twice as much as your driver, how much is it worth? a great putter(what ever works) is priceless ask BV.

I'd pay $1k for a putter that would give me 30 putts a round.

but they don't exist - I just can't freaking putt.

My first putter purchase was a never compromise alpha mallet. My wife came with me and helped me pick it out. It was a choice between it and another that was $100 cheaper. She said get the nc mallet. It was $325 at the time. And I'll never sell it (cause it's worthless really now). Nice putter tho.

My putter cost me $35, my driver $375. I don't actually use the putter that much more, my approach shots to greens are so bad I'm almost always chipping. Strangely I'm a good chipper and holer of putts less than 10ft. I guess it's because I'm doing it every hole.

Anyway good win by Appleby and I like that putter, also like how he changes ball every 3 holes - wish I could do that.

OK did he use the Yes or a Zen, the PGA have it list as zen in his bag? but I'm sure it was a yes if not some blade.

I don't actually use the putter that much more, my approach shots to greens are so bad I'm almost always chipping. I use my driver 13 times a round.... I expect 30 or less putts a round, that's a fair difference. My putter is still cheaper than my driver, but it's the same brand...
