Anybody from WA here belong to Lakelands Golf Club? whats the opinion ? good bad indifferent. It looks a bit flat compared to what I have been used to, but membership fee is economical.

I enjoy playing it once in a while. It has some fun holes, not overly long. I'd be going on a trial run before joining.

Wouldn't Sun City be the best option for you?

I usually play at Carramar, I have played Sun City a few times, but membership is a hell af a lot cheaper at Lakelands though but it does look very flat, could be boring after a while.

You sure about the pricing ODM?

i just checked and the prices i saw had SC $200 cheaper than Lake.

i am old i might be reading it wrong and i didn't look too deep into the noms/extra fees and stuff.

Wife and I play 2-3 times a week at Carramar concession rate which is $15 each per 9 holes, that works out at $90 per week which equalls around $4000 per anum. Lakelands 9 hole 5 day membership is $773 each per annum.

I have decided against joining Lakelands, I was tempted because the were waiving the nomination fee ATM. I also don't like flat courses, I find Marangaroo boring because the lack of contour. I will ring Joondalup in the morning and see if I can get one o the cheap twylights ($25) . I also went to try Wembley, that looks like a bit of. Challenge too.
