Gday Gents
Going to noosa in a couple of weeks, and wondering what courses would you recommend playing up there?

If I was up there, I'd play Maroochy River, but that's because it is one of the few Coast courses that I haven't played before.
I'm easy to please with golf courses, so I would play most of them. It depends on what sort of experience you are after.
If you can afford Hyatt Coolum, if might still be worth playing, just for the experience of playing holes that you may have seen the pros play on TV.

I enjoyed Coolum but that was 18 months ago. Ive played Tewantin twice in comps....didnt like the course at all but the members were great guys both times.

Never heard of it? Is it what was gonna happen with Horton Park? Last I knew it was moving.

Noosa Valley, ordinary course, overpriced.

It is one of the few courses that I haven't played on the Sunshine Coast. Once I had heard of it, the price scared me off.

I really enjoyed Noosa Springs. Probably because its not a big hitters course.

Yeah Noosa Springs is a fantastic golf course, pretty tight so you've got to be accurate, but as you said not overly long. Really good fun to play!

Yea $30 for 9 or $50 for 18, with not a lot of difference between front nine tees and back nine tees was a little over the top for what it is. Their website certainly overstates the course.
