Logans Holden Scramble is on the 14th August

I'm playing with My usual Sat comp partner and his B-in-Law 8) against Mathew, Jarro and Nudgee

If anybody is interested in making up a couple of teams of 3, I could put you down against each other on the sheet.

At this stage we look like getting enough players for 3 teams to go through to the next round 8) so 1st, 2nd & 3rd to go through :D

Rules:
Cost $30.00 / head
everybody gets 6 free golf ball with nomination + other little goodies :smt026

Teams Ambrose event

Teams of 3 playing in a group of 6 - each team marks the other teams card

all players must have a current AGU handicap (27 for men & 40 for women)

Team Eligibility
-each team is allowed only one single figure handicap player
-the three team aggregate handicap must total at least 24 and not exceed 81.

Would love to play, but will be in Tassie that day. We're off on hols 7-15 August.

I'm planning on playing the scramble at Gailes on 22nd August and maybe Brooky on 29th. I got a group of 3 already, but there'd be room for 3 more to make up a tee time.

How'd you go Jaster?? I don't envy you playing in Woomby with the wind and cold... Hope it's warmer by next month's Pro-Am.

I had to buy a bunch of vests in Tassie last week. They're the only way I could get enough layers on and still be able to make a shoulder turn!

You've got my sympathy..... I played my last pennant match in 5 degrees, pouring rain and howling gale, and was wearing: singlet, golf shirt, vest, windcheater, rain jacket.... looked like a little sumo wrestler and couldn't swing it for sh!t. :?

now thats a feat that has only being attributed to the once famous George Bell. To be precise his was the first known 3 putt birdie.

but he actually hit the green with his drive. :-)

Other things George was known for was winningthe Oz long drive champs hitting only fades, and pissing over a bus.

No good this year  67/4.25/62.75

One of our Logan teams were winning when I left with a nett 52.25 :D

So we were only 10 off the pass :D

I'm looking for some higher handicapers next year :D going in giving 7 shots start is just to hard.....you put to much presure on yourself chacing 12 to 14 birds in 18 holes

bad luck Kev :(

at least we'll be able to try again next year :)
