Adbb real?

Got an adbb and the lines going around the shaft don't seem to line up. Everything else looks good, feels good, compared the writing to an addi and the only concern are the lines. Wondering what you guys think?

The part up where it says tour ad in the white section should have holograms of tour ad in a feint grey written everywhere in a random pattern. Your hyphen between the bb-6s looks way different to mine which I got from perci

The dotted i in designed by is another giveaway. The fakes don't dot the i.

I actually can see the hologram 'Tour AD' in your first pic.
My shafts have the bands lining up.

Has the hologram, has the dotted I but still fake? Weighs 110g with grip and tip on it

A bb6s is about 65g raw, less what you chop off so maybe 58g plus grip and tip

Titleist surefit tips weight about 8g, plus a 1-2g ferrule, = 10g.
Grips can weight up to 60g, so 110g sounds like it could be about right?

Pulled the grip and it is 65 to 70g with tip. Under the grip it has a sticker 7860-X46 301205

You can see that BITS shaft has the same misaligned line. Its a real one.

I'm thinking fake, Bits and Lefty's are miss aligned / joined at the front where the Logo is as is my Di's where as the Join on L4s is at the Back / opposite side!

I'm with Perci on this Paul. I have 4 GD AD shafts, LV6s, LV6x, BB6s and MD6s and they are all perfectly aligned.
The bottom line though is if it performs, who cares?

Just for another comparison, here's my two. Neither have any misalignment in the stripes. I'd be surprised if it was a real deal. Just looked at an MT 6S that I have too and the stripes all line up.

Ok, pulled the tip.

It is 44 inches long, weighs 60g, balance point is just below the bottom ring, 21 inches from the top of the shaft. Tip to bottom ring is 23 inches.

Something else I just noticed. If you look at the top and bottom edge of the dark blue background where it has the words "Accuracy & Distance.........etc", L4G's seems to have a jagged edge. I just looked at mine closely and they seem to be very definite straight edge. Maybe another way to tell a real from a not so real :smt102 Of course I could be totally wrong.

Well tip to bottom ring means if its real, it's tipped 1.75". That's a lot.

Pretty bloody close apart from the graphics...the weight is good, feels good.

Have a look at where the N in design finishes. On yours PJ it seems to be further back. I would be worried about yours too ODM.

Ditto with my BB and DIs, the join seems to always be where the text is on the top.

I will tip it an inch and try it in the g30. If it goes well, the fact it is fake can be our little secret :O

The guy I bought it off was unaware the shaft was not real and the $ was not all that much so will just put it down to 'live and learn' and move on, not going to hammer the point home for a few $ when the guy was as unaware as I was. On the bright side I have a cool tomato stake...might still tip it and see what comes of it :)

Wow. Get pickup everyone with all the little things not quite right.
Been looking to try one of these shafts and hoping to pick one up for a good price at some stage.
Not so sure about getting one off EvilBay now if the fakes are that good.
