Seeing as last years birthday bash (http://www.ozgolf.net/showthread.php/41457-Peppa-s-amazing-pre-SA-Champs-Birthday-Bash-(and-arrival-of-your-champ)!) at St Micks drew a crowd (probably the cake), Tim and I have been discussing organising a v2 of this event.

People interested in another round? Tim has kindly offered to host again at St Micks but if there are alternate venues then happy to consider.

We are looking at the around Wednesday 18th or Thursday 19th of November.

I've made a tentative booking for Thursday 19th November in the open comp @ St Micks for 4 groups (16 players). It will be some time between 10:30 and 12:30.

This is soon after club champ finals are played so course will be in good shape.

Also ordered a 20 knot+ summer nor'easter for the day. Should be fun!

I don't see any reason for there to be an issue so you'd be safe to take off Thursday 19th November. But you can wait until I speak to them if you like.

Hopefully on Sunday they can give me tee times but I am expecting to get 4 groups (2 off first tee & 2 off 10th tee) some time after 10:30. Red Belly challenge day again so back tees are available for A graders

3 groups off the first tee 12:15, 12:21 & 12:28. (tail of field)

Need to be ready to go 15 minutes before tee time (but I guess most people will be early to hit balls at range / do swap meet)

Marshalls are red hot about time both teeing off and through the round to keep the field moving so after you've dumped a few in the drink / bushes off one of the back tees it's probably time to take a deep breath and have a little stroll enjoying the view :razz:

Around there traffic is fine.

If you're coming from North Shore you'd know the sort of problems you might encounter around the city getting through to Little Bay.

Southern Cross Drive then onto Wentworth Avenue then Bunnerong Road (or Southern Cross Drive then Foreshore Road) gets you pretty close

The course was in pretty good nick except for the really slow greens. The rolled well and I holed a bunch of putts, but a little disappointing.

I was going ok in the first 8 holes then got my butt handed to me over the next 8 holes, lucky I was able to finish strong and avoid NAGA.

Looking forward to eating cake and playing again next year.
