Any got one of these?

Mine starts up and says Error Code 07, Please contact Technical Support.
(addendum: now sometimes says Code 05)

So I email this fella who helped me with another issue at the Australian distributor www.ChampionSports.com.au (http://www.ChampionSports.com.au) who didnt answer.

Emailed again to the general enquiry contact, who confidentally told me to login to http://bushnell.igolf.com and then I can do a firmware update to fix it. My device was already registered and Indeed when I login, the site does tell me I need a firmware update. This is odd, as devices dont normally die, when firmware updates are released.

Anyway, after downloading a Firefox browser plugin first problem is:
- error, you need to use a computer running OSX 10.9 or higher. but I am using OSX 10.10

Eventually I try Chrome, and that seems to install the plugin and proceed to the next step, "connect device" which I do , and it says it is waiting for device for ever and a day. I have tried this on 3 or 4 Mac computers, all running 10.10, all the same problem . Even tried Linux which failed miserably (i was optimistic), Dont have any windows computers these days, all broke or thrown out.

I contacted Bushnell USA support, no response in over a week.
Google has never heard of this error

Dead end, it not even useful as a brick.

Have you ever thought about maybe being nicer to people, and this sort of thing may not happen to you?

Just got off the phone with Bushnell Customer Service today (913)752-3400. They told me the reason why I am getting the error code 7 or error code 14 is because by plugging your device into your computer the antivirus will wipe out the software the programmed software.
The saving grace of this situation is the Customer service told me to send it back to Bushnell customer service in Kansas. Bushnell will reprogram the device once they receive it and as soon as they are done which is in a day, it will be shipped back to you for no charge, just the shipping to get it there.

It shouldn't be a problem with a Mac then...

I also called Bushnell and the dude was an ass on the phone. I actually own 2 NEO GHOSTS. One that works and the one that doesn't. I work IT/NETWORKS/SECURITY so I made an image of the good NEO using free software called ImageUSB then I imaged the bad one with the copy I made. Worked like a champ. I keep the good image on my NAS in case I need it again. It takes a while (20 minutes) because the NEO is SLOOOW. You will get an error at the very end on verification. Ignore it. I used it playing last night. No problems. This is not the first time I've had to do this. I plug it in to charge on a different machines. Now I use a USB charger so I should not have that problem anymore..
