JDM QUESTION -Onoff forged irons

Looking at 2013 forged and the 2015 Kuro forged irons. Maybe the 2011 forged at a pinch. Has anyone played them, loved them, hated them? I've never owned a set of JDM irons before and from what I read elsewhere, these are a damn good place to start (and maybe even not worry about going elsewhere!). Thanks.
