Hi J, I used a 815 DBD 9* (set to 8*) with stock Rogue stiff this weekend. I was hitting low spin bullets, which was lucky because it was blowing 50km/k+. I find it works best if you tee it down.
How do you find the u45 vs 712u or Apex?

u45 and Apex super easy to launch. u45 has the biggest booty.
For the better players, 712u seems a better option, but with the right shaft the u45 is a cracker.

Man, if that Srixon was 23* I'd have happily traded the Bio Cell for it without giving the BC a hit. I was looking at them in Drummond today and they do look very appealing.

Brad I found the 712 a bit harder to elevate than the U45. This shaft works well in this head but a bit too much for me - getting old sux!

I haven't played retail version as I have a 12 in tour issue also - long hosel is the only cosmetic difference - sound is also a bit more muted ( when compared to playing partners 14 retail)
Much better shaft than shite that retail offers ;-)

Yeah you are right forgot about the TP version - the normal retail is a POS ;-)

Are you absolutely sure ;-) So sure that I'll read up on it and see what the bounce would be like if I had it bent to 22*. I am pretty keen to see if it would serve well as a 5W to 5i bridge.

That said, it is merely an EOI. If someone else wants it, let them at it. I'll just on sell the BC to you at the appropriate time. :)

Nudgee how do u find the ball flight of the 16* compared to a normal 4 wood??
nudgee
2nd August 2015, 07:45 PM
Nice and high like a 4 wood, not a lot of roll though - good dispersion with this shaft - but you know that already ;-)
