You could get some here Ben:

http://buyee.jp/item/yahoo/auction/o106074252

That's about $1600 second hand delivered, plus $240ish gst and duty.

Cheers,
Ben

Pretty sure Aus eBay seller oldamercianbarn101 had a near new set for sale not long ago (within the last few weeks). From memory they where under a $1K and didn't sell ... May be a lead, may not.

The 716 MB's will be out soon if they are of any interest. There's a few pics around already. Nice shiny chrome.

Be aware they are not bendable (they are cast) so any buys need to be in your specs!

They r like the 712U. ie. Hollow and moderately forgiving.

Fair bit of interest and quite a few threads and reviews on WRX.
BTW the Titleist T-MB are currently a Japan release I think. They will be available retail in the US within a couple of months and then get to OZ soon after.

I believe we won't see the whole set. Will need to source from OS if you want the full set.

Titleist have limited these full sets to only five bags on the USPGA tour. Something to do with marketing the other models. They wish to keep their AP2 fans, I guess.

Yes thats correct, only 2-4 Irons are available in Australia at the moment, whereas the whole set is Available in Japan and USA through MOTO.
A lot of awesome reviews on Golfwrx, people rating them more forgiving than AP2s.

For what it is worth I'll pass on comments a mate who has the full set. Firstly he loves them but then again he has loved every set in his bag. The advantage the T-MB's have (with his game) over the AP2s is in being able to play knock down shots with the short irons to 7-iron. He struggles with this shot using AP2s. An interesting comment about the AP2's was that to him all the models played exactly the same and looked the same at address. The T-MB's aren't game improvement clubs. They are players clubs with a similar forgiveness that is in the AP2 but with a muscle back look and a higher centre of gravity.

Nudgee has had these in the bag for some time now, +6 months, which for him is a lifetime.

He is very particular about his bats.

Nearly a year in jdm land.Similar to Callaway's release of the Legacy irons in Japan. They were so popular there that Cally renamed them the Big Bertha Diablo for the US, European and Australian market. Similar concept to the T-MB, except the Cally has a forged body with more off-set with a cavity look.
